Thank you Woody44. I tried what you suggested, and it's certainly workable - if I have two different files.

So I've made a copy and have the original in one iteration of TM, and the copy in the second iteration of TM.

I do wish, though, this could be done with a single file in 2, or even 3, panes ...

I have found it useful in other applications (such as Notepad++) to be able to view a single document - especially a long one - in multiple tabs, in order to see one portion of the document while working on a different, but related, portion of the text...or to be able to grab a portion of text from ...
