I always use Palatino 16 for everything. But TextMaker always uses Times new roman 10
After changing these two to my wishes, I cannot find a way to save this as the normal standard template, that I want used every time I open a new document..
WHERE EXACTLY is the button that lets me save that? There is a big manual that does NOT really me....
Thank you.
Save my own template
Re: Save my own template
Open the character formatting dialogue. (I use the Classic menu, so I can't tell you where that is on the ribbon.)
Change the font and size to Palatino and 16-point.
At the bottom, click the button for "Set as Default."
This will open another pop-up, that asks if you want to make it the default for the current document only, or for all documents using the "Normal" template. If you want to use that font and size for all new documents, choose "Change for all new documents based on the default template (Normal.tmvx)."
